Job Description:
As a VBA/Excel Tools Developer at Substance Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the development of VBA projects related to IMDS and material data reporting in the automotive industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-growing field. While experience in a similar role is not required, knowledge of VBA is essential, and we are looking for someone with a desire to enhance their business analysis skills and work closely with material data management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain VBA/Excel tools that support material data reporting, specifically in IMDS and related automotive industry standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering and consulting teams to design solutions that meet regulatory compliance needs (e.g., REACH, ELV, and SCIP).
- Automate workflows and create user-friendly reporting tools in Excel to streamline data management processes.
- Assist in troubleshooting and improving existing VBA-based tools.
- Learn to work with IMDS and integrate it into the automation of material data reporting.
- Stay updated with VBA best practices and continuously improve the functionality of existing solutions.
Qualifications:
- Solid knowledge of VBA (required).
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, macros and data manipulation.
- Willingness to learn and improve business analysis and material data reporting skills.
- No prior experience in a similar position required, but a passion for automation and data reporting is essential.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English is required.
