Module 1: Theoretical introduction
The first part of the training focuses on the theoretical foundations of the SCIP system and the obligations arising from REACH regulations:
- Legal requirements – an overview of regulations regarding SVHC substances and reporting obligations to the SCIP database.
- Obligation to report articles to SCIP – an introduction to the SCIP database and its role in managing hazardous substances.
Module 2: Working with SCIP
The second part of the training includes practical handling of the SCIP system:
- System administration – understanding the ECHA Cloud Services administrative tools from both user and legal entity perspectives.
- Analysis of product documentation – during the training you will learn best practices for obtaining and analyzing documentation of the chemical composition of products.
- Creating SCIP notifications – creating and managing data for articles containing SVHC in the IUCLID system.
- Validation and data submission – verification of notifications and submission of data through the ECHA Submission Portal.
